Well here we go again! Businesses opening up after another lockdown.
We’ve all learned a lot during the past very difficult year. About ourselves and about what’s really important in life. And perhaps about our businesses too.
What’s really important to you and your clients? What have you learned from 2020? You might want to change your marketing a little to reflect new insights.
For example, you might want to:
Create a separate web page for a specific service or product
You could create a separate page on your website to focus on a specific service or product. Visitors can be directed to this page from the search engines and from social media. It can be a straightforward sales page with a ‘Buy Now’ or a ‘Contact Us’ Call to Action, or it can be a landing page.
Create a Landing Page
A landing page is a page of your website where you invite visitors to sign up for relevant emails from you. An email marketing system like Mailchimp will give you the tools to set up a landing page on your website and enable you to send emails to your subscribers in a GDPR-compliant way.
Email marketing is a great way to build a trusted relationship with your subscribers and to remain top of mind with them.
Offer online consultations
You might want to adopt a softer sales approach than trying to sell direct from your website or e-newsletter. Instead you could encourage your website visitors to book an online consultation with you.
The widespread adoption of Zoom has made prospective client consultations so much easier and less time consuming. No more wasted travel time visiting clients who may not be a good fit! Just schedule a Zoom meeting with them.
Calendly is a free online booking tool which you can add to your website or social media to make it easy for clients to book a consultation with you.
